Job Summary:
As Maintenance – Electrician, you will perform a wide variety of duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical and electronic components in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications, and production machines/equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Test faulty equipment and diagnose cause of malfunction.
- Test electronic components and circuit boards to locate malfunction using oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, and voltmeters.
- Repair and replace defective components on board and wiring.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of mathematics and general electronic engineering.
- Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
- Ability to learn computer applications such as MaintainX.
- Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls, tools or equipment.
- May require specific vision abilities that include close vision.
- May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time.
- May be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.
- May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.
Minimum Requirements:
- Electrical certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
