Position: Dishwasher
Reports To: F&B Managers
The Dishwasher is an integral part of our kitchen operations, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sanitary environment will contribute directly to the overall guest experience.
Pay Range: $14.00 + based on experience and qualifications

- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, and pot-scrubbing stations. Ensure all kitchen wares are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored appropriately.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, including tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Dispose of trash and recyclables properly, and maintain cleanliness in the dumpster area.
- Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock to maintain freshness. Prevent the loss of dishware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
- Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables, and help with room service tray retrieval when necessary.
- Adhere to all Health Department requirements and company safety standards. Promptly report maintenance issues and follow all emergency procedures.
- Most tasks are performed indoors, but some outdoor work may be required for trash disposal. The role involves exposure to varying temperatures, including working in freezers and kitchens.
- Support the culinary team and ensure that our guests have a seamless dining experience. Ensure all guest interactions are conducted in a courteous and professional manner, aligning with company standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance overall guest satisfaction
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and security protocols, including the proper handling of keys, lost and found items, and emergency procedures.
- Participate in daily hotel operations meetings and contribute to the overall hotel strategy. Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager, supporting the overall success of hotel operations.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Prior dishwashing experience is an advantage, though not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and work in both hot and cold environments, including freezers and kitchens.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules based on hotel business needs, including attending all required training sessions and meetings.
