We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Outpatient Lead Clinician to join our team at Hendricks Behavioral Hospital !
As the Outpatient Lead Clinician you will be responsible for assisting in providing clinical services for all Adult and Adolescent IOP patients. The Clinical Lead will attend all treatment teams and have an understanding of all patients enrolled and their clinical needs. The Clinical Lead will support all other Outpatient staff with consulting needs of patients, providing feedback for clinical decision-making, and tracking chart compliance. The Lead Clinician provides general support to the Director of Outpatient services.
- Daily auditing of compliance for PSAs, Treatment Plans, Group notes, and other documentation requirements.
- Assist director with building and maintaining positive relationships with interdisciplinary teams, notifying the director of any challenges or opportunities in a timely manner
- Maintain a knowledge of the hospital, regulations, policies, and programs
- Coaches staff on providing group programming and individual clinical needs.
- Assist with surveys from outside entities as needed (e.g. DMHA, CMS, TJC, etc)
- Maintain current information regarding discharges, incoming admissions, level of care assessments, etc.
- Provide coverage for staff when out on PTO.
- Assist in managing daily staffing needs.
- Assist with daily responsibilities when the director is out or unavailable.
- Provide support for director in monthly reporting, identifying areas for improvement with practical plans for education/training and auditing.
Your Experience Matters What were looking for:
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of Health and Human Services or Social Services related field. Masters Degree is required.
Experience: A minimum of three years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice in the state of Indiana as a therapist.
Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of crisis intervention training including restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $75,000-$82,000 annually. We are eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and we will consider their experience and skill level during the selection process.
