# Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a large industrial textile processing facility. This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial processing equipment and facility systems.

Shift: 8-hour shifts beginning at 3:00 AM or 4:00 AM , depending on production needs
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain large industrial textile processing equipment and facility systems.
- Perform equipment start-up and shut-down procedures and ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs), document work performed, and identify potential equipment issues before they result in downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other equipment-related problems independently.
- Monitor equipment condition and work with management to determine when repairs, replacements, or upgrades are needed.
- Operate and monitor boilers and associated equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with overall plant maintenance operations and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient facility.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance programs designed to maximize equipment uptime, control costs, and meet applicable regulatory and OSHA requirements.
- Assist outside contractors with machinery installation, repairs, and other maintenance projects.
- Perform general plumbing and HVAC maintenance as needed.
- Weld, cut, fabricate, and perform other mechanical repairs as required.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on operational requirements and customer needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Hands-on experience with industrial equipment, boilers, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Welding and cutting experience preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues independently with minimal supervision.
- General plumbing and HVAC knowledge is a plus.
- Forklift operating experience preferred.
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Honest, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining a professional work environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older .
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.
- Frequent reaching with hands, fingers, and arms.
- Ability to occasionally climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and work in confined or awkward positions.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 80+ pounds .
- Ability to work around industrial equipment and occasionally encounter chemicals or other potentially hazardous substances while following required safety procedures.
- Must be able to work an 8-hour shift beginning at 3:00 AM or 4:00 AM , based on production requirements.
