Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a detail ‑ oriented and dependable Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations and administrative functions. Working under the direction of the Senior Director of Human Resources and the HR Manager, this role plays an important part in maintaining accurate records, supporting employee processes, and ensuring efficient department operations. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work in a fast ‑ paced environment while supporting Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with a variety of Human Resources functions, including administrative and clerical support.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in compliance with confidentiality standards.
- Support HR processes and workflows as directed by leadership.
- Respond to internal inquiries and provide support to employees and management.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized files and systems.
- Assist with general office and departmental tasks as needed.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and follow established procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience in Human Resources .
- Bilingual skills preferred .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills .
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
