Role Summary:

This role is a key project-management resource for the Marketing & Communications team, bringing structure, momentum and accountability to projects that involve multiple departments, stakeholders, vendors and deadlines. The Coordinator will help turn ideas into well-planned, professionally executed initiatives, with particular focus on major brand activations and strategic projects, including Air North's 50th anniversary initiatives in early 2027.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Own and coordinate assigned marketing projects from initial concept and planning through execution, wrap-up and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to expectations.

- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and task lists, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and identifying priorities, dependencies, risks and roadblocks.

- Act as the central point of contact for assigned projects, keeping internal teams, vendors, agencies, contractors and external partners aligned on responsibilities, deliverables and deadlines.

- Proactively drive projects forward, anticipating next steps, resolving issues, escalating concerns appropriately and recommending practical solutions when challenges arise.

- Coordinate the planning and execution of brand activations, campaigns, launches, celebrations and special projects, including Air North’s 50th anniversary programming and related initiatives.

- Manage project logistics and on-site execution, including venues, schedules, staffing, equipment, signage, promotional materials, transportation and other operational requirements.

- Coordinate vendors, contractors and suppliers, including sourcing, obtaining quotes, managing deliverables, coordinating purchasing and ensuring requirements, timelines and brand standards are met.

- Support project budgeting and administration, including tracking expenses, purchase orders, invoices, commitments and deliverables, and preparing project updates and post-project reporting.

- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Social Media & Events and other internal teams to translate creative concepts into executable plans and identify opportunities for content, storytelling, photography, video and communications.

- Evaluate completed projects and identify opportunities for improvement, documenting learnings and recommendations while ensuring future projects are more efficient, effective and aligned with Air North’s brand and organizational objectives.

Must haves:

- A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities

- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Project Management, Event Management or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

- Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in project coordination, marketing, event management, communications or a related field

- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines, deliverables and vendors

- Experience coordinating events, activations, campaigns, launches or other complex initiatives

- Experience with online, cloud-based systems and data management

- Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support

- Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to haves:

- Fluency in written French considered an asset
