Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

- 3-5 years - Experience in setup and processing of injection molding and/or profile extrusion lines

- Basic troubleshooting ability of mechanical and electrical systems (water & vacuum pumps, blenders, punch presses, labelers, etc.)

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Able to lift up to 50-70 lbs. safely

- Experience driving forklifts (or be willing to train to attain license)

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

- Hang tooling in/on injection molding machine/extruder and set all operating parameters per the setup sheet

- Setup all downstream and packaging equipment needed for each product

- Start injection and extrusion processes and troubleshoot processing issues to get and maintain in-spec product.

- Troubleshoot downstream equipment issues

- Using statistical quality control software, enter key process parameters and product dimensions at product startup and at 2-hour intervals to ensure product quality

- Enter production information into computer system as skids/racks are completed or at end of shift

- Ensure all scrap and purgings have been properly taken care of, either through grinding or disposal

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment

- Relieve packers for breaks as necessary

- Housekeeping: work as a team to keep department clean

- Miscellaneous duties as assigned

- 1st shift 7am - 3pm

- Located in: Lancaster, PA
