Summary:

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Prenatal Instructor to provide education and support to expectant parents throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. In this role, you will facilitate prenatal classes, educate families on labor and delivery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery, while empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health and birth experience. The Prenatal Instructor serves as a trusted resource and collaborates with clinical teams to promote healthy pregnancy outcomes and patient engagement.

Responsibilities:

*Maintains established department polices and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control policies
*Provide individual and group instruction in health related areas.
*Interacts with other members of the childbirth team
*Maintains professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings, and workshops.

Qualifications:

- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program required.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico or Compact RN License.
- Current BLS certification.
