📌 The Role

As a Compliance Specialist I, youll help keep our compliance work organized and on track. Youll work with the Director of Compliance and teams across the company in a collaborative, structured, and building-oriented environment. Youll follow established procedures while helping improve and document how work gets done. In this role, youll:

- Keep regulatory calendars, filings, renewals, and deadlines up to date.

- Organize records and make sure documentation is easy to find.

- Help prepare filings, correspondence, and materials for review.

- Track assigned actions, coordinate information across departments, communicate requirements, and document completion.

- Research regulatory updates and help turn them into practical next steps.

- Keep trackers, procedures, and other compliance tools current.

- Help with monitoring, testing, and regulatory examinations.

- Speak up when information is missing, deadlines are at risk, or something needs a closer look.

Were looking for a curious, dependable, and organized professional who communicates clearly, follows through on commitments, and is comfortable learning unfamiliar regulatory and operational topics. The person in this role should be able to work independently within established procedures, collaborate across departments, maintain accurate documentation, and recognize when a matter requires clarification or escalation.

- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree in a business-related field preferred.

- 2+ years of experience in insurance regulatory and audit compliance preferred.

- Experience with Microsoft 365, Excel, SharePoint, calendars, and task-tracking tools.
