About this role
An AMI Auditor is responsible for ensuring that installation and/or reading of meters and/or modules (electric, water, or gas) meet strict procedural, technical, and safety guidelines at both residential and commercial properties.
The auditor may conduct field audits on completed exchanges or live exchanges or may conduct data review to verify completion, accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures for meter/module exchanges and/or meter reading activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Using a work order management system to capture site data
Maintaining accurate records of work completed
Overseeing the materials, equipment, vehicle and tools
Managing daily data and reporting
Coordinating scheduling and meeting quality / quantity requirements
Providing courteous and excellent internal and external customer service
Other duties and tasks as assigned or necessary
Qualifications

Accurate record keeping and documentation skills
Dependability
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the job as no per diem nor relocation allowance is associated with this position.
Ability to use handheld device and other equipment as required for the position.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to drive throughout the day, stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time. The work is performed outdoors and through inclement weather as necessary.
Must have a valid drivers license and excellent driving record.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of personal or professional driving experience due to insurance requirements.
Must have own personal Smart phone.
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
Good Communication Skills (speaking, reading and writing).
Ability to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner.
