Job Title: Office Manager Job Description Join a dynamic and growing service organization in Flint as an experienced Office Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead day-to-day office operations and support a field workforce of approximately 50 employees, overseeing a dedicated team of 6 office staff members. This opportunity is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats within a small team. Responsibilities

- Manage and lead a team of 6 office staff members.
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee timekeeping.
- Support accounts payable, invoicing, and other accounting-related activities.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for reporting, communication, and administrative tasks.
- Work within BuildOps and QuickBooks systems.
- Serve as a resource and leader for office personnel.
- Partner with field operations to ensure smooth communication and workflow coordination.
- Help implement and improve office processes and procedures.

Essential Skills

- 2-6 years of office management, administrative leadership, operations, or related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with QuickBooks required or strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience supervising or leading a team preferred.
- BuildOps experience is a plus.
- Exposure to payroll, invoicing, or bookkeeping functions.
- Comfortable working in a smaller team environment and taking initiative.
- High school diploma required; degree not required.
- Natural leader who can motivate and support others.
- Customer-service oriented and professional on the phone.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Adaptable and willing to assist where needed.
- Able to thrive in a hands-on, team-focused environment.

Work Environment This position is fully onsite, with a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burton, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $28.84/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
