Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description: Quality Technician - 2nd Shift Join our dynamic team as a Quality Technician on the 2nd shift. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products in a regulated industry, with a preference for experience in the medical, aerospace, or automotive sectors. Responsibilities

- Review product non-conformances and device history records (DHRs).
- Complete quality documentation related to part defects and inspection plans.
- Understand and assess technical drawings, dimensions, and required specifications.
- Communicate with operators on the production floor regarding non-conforming materials.
- Assist with supplier change request forms and quality documentation, including FMEA and PPAPs.

Essential Skills

- 0-3+ years of experience in a regulated industry (medical preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with quality inspection, quality control, and inspection tools.
- Familiarity with quality documentation, schematics, PPAP, and FAIRs.
- Proficiency in Excel for data collection and analysis.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
