Accountabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams and direct reports responsible for product support activities throughout development and production introduction, aligning stakeholders with program milestones and customer commitments.
- Develop, maintain, and execute an integrated product support plan through qualification, entry into service, and transition to sustainment.
- Coordinate support activities across support equipment, repair engineering, technical publications, reliability, maintainability, human factors, provisioning, customer training, and maintenance data systems.
- Develop cost and schedule estimates and support internal and external Earned Value Management activities, providing visibility into risks, assumptions, progress, and execution status.
- Manage product and service development from concept through production introduction, ensuring supportability is incorporated into the product and can scale effectively.
- Help shape product support strategy, resource planning, policies, and best practices in response to technical, operational, and business challenges.
- Develop and implement digital product support strategies that use data and technology to improve sustainment insights, customer value, and operational readiness.
- Analyze complex or incomplete information, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to address technical, schedule, cost, and customer challenges.
- Support long-term planning and broader business strategy while maintaining accountability for functional and program-level objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in an appropriate discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in product support, product development, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading programs, projects, or cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of product support planning, development, production introduction, sustainment, or related aerospace/engineering processes.
- Established project management capabilities, including the ability to document, plan, coordinate, and execute complex initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate multiple data sources and make sound decisions in situations involving ambiguity or competing priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience aligning teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving execution toward defined outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, program management, customer-facing, and other functional teams.
- Ability to meet applicable U.S. requirements for access to export-controlled information and authorization to work in the United States.
- Willingness to complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
