Intercompany Analyst

The Intercompany Analyst is responsible for the accurate preparation, posting, and processing of intercompany transactions within the RTR function. The role covers IC charge preparation, journal posting, netting calculations, settlement processing, and contributing to IC reconciliations. The analyst operates under the supervision of the Intercompany Manager and Senior Analyst, ensuring all IC transactions are recorded correctly in the ERP and that the intercompany control framework is followed.

This role will also support the process improvements initiatives of that will be designed for the Manila Finance Shared Service Center.

What you will be doing:

- Accounting Execution Intercompany Processing Prepare intercompany charge and transaction documentation in line with approved recharge structures.
- Post IC journals to the ERP system accurately within the month-end schedule.

- Month-end close: Process IC settlement transactions and maintain supporting records.
- Account Reconciliation: Contribute to IC reconciliations under Senior Analyst review.

- Query Resolution: Respond to helpdesk queries related to intercompany transactions; escalate IC disputes or unresolved reconciling items to the Senior Analyst.
- Compliance and Reporting Audit Support: Support audit and regulatory engagements with evidence and schedules.
- Reporting: Provide data inputs for management reporting and regulatory submissions as directed.
- Controls & Documentation Maintain audit-quality working papers for all intercompany entries and reconciliations.
- Participate in process reviews, control assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reconciliation efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
- Adhere to SOD controls; follow the maker-checker process for all ERP postings.
- Escalate complex or non-standard intercompany transactions to the Senior Analyst.

- Stakeholder management Serve as the first point of contact for routine intercompany queries from internal teams.
- Provide updates on intercompany reconciliations and outstanding issues.
- Escalate complex accounting issues, policy questions, unresolved items, non-standard intercompany transactions and decisions to the Senior Analyst.

Who we are looking for:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or finance operations role preferably within a Shared Service Centre or Finance department.
- Understanding of intercompany accounting from study or work experience.
- Exposure to ERP systems for journal entry preferred.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation (VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, data validation).
- Experience in a gaming, payments, or fintech environment preferred.
