About this role
This vacancy is for a Project Associate (Migration Response Centres) – Affiliate, based in Addis Ababa within IOM Ethiopia’s Protection Unit. The role supports the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring and reporting of Migration Response Centre activities, including protection case referrals, data management, staff and partner capacity building, procurement/logistics follow-up, partner coordination, field visits and donor/programme reporting. The position reports to the National Officer (Protection) and requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant social science or humanitarian field, at least three years of relevant experience, strong communication and cultural sensitivity, knowledge of migrant protection and assistance, and fluency in English and Amharic.
