About this role
• 5+ years of total engineering experience, including 3+ years in test automation, primarily focused on backend testing
• Proficiency in Python and Pytest for writing automated test scripts
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes principles, CI/CD knowledge, and the ability to analyse backend service logs
• Proficiency in Linux and related tools, with solid Bash scripting knowledge
• Basic SQL proficiency
• Experience with Kafka and Kibana, or the ability to learn them quickly
• Experience testing RESTful and gRPC APIs
• Good understanding of client-server and/or microservice architecture
• Familiarity with Machine Learning fundamentals
• Active use of AI assistants
📌 Responsibilities:
• Participate actively in all stages of the product lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and application documentation
• Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system
• Test backend services and analyse results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
• Write automated API tests
• Collaborate with TechOps and other teams to implement quality management processes and improve testing practices
