About this role

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, and VDA standards.

- Lead, plan internal audits and coordinate external audits, including customer and certification body audits.

- Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and manage complaint resolution using 8D, 5-Why, and Root Cause Analysis methods.

- Monitor customer scorecards and drive improvement plans as needed, and report monthly to management.

- Lead or support supplier evaluations and audits, and manage supplier non-conformances and corrective actions in coordination.

- Monitor in-process quality controls and implement process adjustments to maintain product standards.

- Lead the development and approval of Control Plans, FMEAs, and PPAP submissions

- Support new product launches from a quality assurance perspective.

- Track quality KPIs, including scrap rates, rework, PPM, and internal/external defect rates, and provide regular reports to management.

- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other data-driven quality tools such as MSA according to customer requirements.

- Manage and develop quality team members, and conduct quality training sessions for inspectors, technicians, and staff across operations, logistics, and new employees during onboarding processes.

- Identify potential quality risks and recommend preventive actions.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

- Create or update any instruction, procedure, or visual forms all across the plant related with all departments.

- Other duties within the scope of the position may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within an automotive environment.

- Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC).

- Strong knowledge of SAP.

- Proven experience leading internal and external audits, including customer and certification body audits.

- Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Root Cause Analysis.

- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles; Six Sigma certification is a plus.

- Experience in an international company is a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across production, engineering, and customer-facing teams.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-related software tools (e.g., SPC or QMS platforms).
