As a Barista, you will have the opportunity to:

- Brew and serve high-quality beverages using our world-renowned recipes and techniques.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for our diverse community of customers.
- Support the wider store operation as a multi-skilled partner, including cleaning and store upkeep, replenishment, customer support, queue management and peak-period support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store.
- Help ensure merchandise, consumables, condiment stations and other key areas remain well stocked, particularly during busy periods.
- Support customers and help maintain a welcoming café environment throughout the day.
- Assist with queue management and customer flow during high-volume periods.
- Complete supporting tasks that allow the team to remain focused on beverage production, handoff and service speed.
- Learn and grow in a supportive environment with opportunities for advancement.
- Be part of a global brand committed to sustainability, ethical sourcing and positively impacting our communities.

Requirements:

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.

All our retail store partners begin their careers with us by undertaking an introductory training programme led by our amazing trainers and coaches. This programme is designed to immerse you in the Starbucks culture and set you up for success. These training programmes are delivered in our stores and provide partners with the opportunity to learn on the job, supported by their manager.
