Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator specializing in blow molding operations(HDPE/PET). The ideal candidate will have experience with OEM machines from Bekum and ASB and be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of blow molding equipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality plastic bottles.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Bekum and ASB blow molding machines for the planned production.
- Set up and adjust machines according to product specifications, including mold installation and changes
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with established quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or product defects in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, production counts, and quality data.
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and optimize workflow.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.
KPIs
- Out put as per defined standards and Plan.
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- No safety related issue.
- Changeover Time as per std.
Work experience requirement
- 4 Years + Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in plastic blow molding.Proven track record of operating and maintaining blow molding equipment, with hands-on experience in setting up machines for different production runs.
- Technical Training-Completion of technical training or certification programs related to machine operation or manufacturing processes is a plus - ASB/FONGKEE/BEKUM (Blow Moulding)
