About this role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, edit, design, and publish key marketing communications content (i.e., presentations, flyers, newsletters, white papers, press releases, etc.) with accuracy and consistency
- Oversee social media channels, driving online community growth and engagement, developing, and curating corporate content, maintaining social media profiles, track and measure key metrics, post engagement
- Maintain website; track and measure analytics including SEO, web traffic and lead generation
- Write, edit, and generate story ideas and topic angles for corporate communications
- Research and apply for any qualifying industry specific awards
- Design digital and print marketing materials, adhering to brand standards
- Create, compose, and edit internal and external correspondences
- Coordinate events, conferences, trade shows, press interviews, etc.
- Condense and organize complex information into meaningful communications
- Log and maintain all collected materials within digital archive for archival or on-demand purposes
- Prepare materials as required in advance of meetings or events, to include monthly management meeting
- Occasionally assist with day-to-day office administration functions or events (i.e., conferences, holiday parties, etc.)
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary including those assigned by Direct Manager, COO or owner
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible marketing and communications experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and content management systems.
- Experience managing corporate social media channels and website content.
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, digital advertising, and marketing automation platforms.
- Exceptional written communication and content development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
