Dishwasher

OVERVIEW
The Dishwasher is a Team Member position in the food and beverage department. Working side by side with both our team members and the management team to support execution in all types of back of house tasks. The Dishwasher is hands-on, in the trenches, providing support to the Chef De Cuisine, Team Members, and Level99 overall. We provide top tier experiences in a facility that strives to exceed expectations. The Dishwasher helps to get everything right, continually improving, learning from mistakes, and remembering the small details matter just as much as the big ones.  A successful Dishwasher will be able to learn and take direction, while upholding our high standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Uphold Level99's core concept and cultural values in all actions

- Maintain composure and professionalism

- Recognize and actively contribute to the larger team's success

- Proactively maintain employee safety, addressing potential risks to staff and guest well-being

- Maintain a Food Safe environment within our venues through active participation

- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all dishes, smallware, and cookware, ensuring their proper return and organization

- Support the team in preparing for and carrying out all cleaning, maintenance, and organizational duties

- Participate in the correct receiving and storage of food deliveries as requested

- Assist the Back of House team with basic food preparation tasks

- Perform all other duties as requested

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Capacity to work efficiently under pressure in a constantly evolving setting

- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

- Maintains a positive, respectful, and courteous attitude towards all team members

- Leads by example with a positive, joyful, upbeat, and energetic demeanor

- Consistently displays a positive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude, serving as a role model

- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays

- Able to work 8 hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs

- Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds

- Ability to work effectively in hot, humid, and damp conditions

- Must be able to learn and remember critical information regarding potential hazards of cleaning chemicals

- Must be able to learn, retain, and consistently apply proper food safety procedures

OTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE

- Previous experience in high volume food and beverage establishment

- Multilingual

While we don’t expect a candidate to have deep experience in all of the above, we’re looking for someone with the passion and capability to learn quickly in the areas that are new!
