We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Flight Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a contractor in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Job Description: As a Flight Respiratory Therapist at Acute Air Ambulance, you will play a vital role in providing advanced respiratory care to patients during air medical transports. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide respiratory care to patients during air transport, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.

- Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.

- Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.

- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in respiratory care.

Qualifications:

- Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in Puerto Rico.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in respiratory care, with at least 1 year in a critical care or emergency setting.

- Experience in air medical transport is preferred but not required.

- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Current Passport

- Drug Screen and Background check required

- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

- Available within a 45-minute drive from San Juan International Airport
