Production Manager (Print Production & Operations Management)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee end-to-end print production workflows and operational processes . This role is responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, color accuracy, and production efficiency .
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing production teams, print workflows, scheduling, and quality control in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document job workflows and production instructions for print operations
- Create and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of all projects
- Oversee all projects from start to finish , ensuring deadlines, quality, and cost targets are met
- Supervise and assign work to the production team , ensuring efficient workflow distribution
- Maintain a strong eye for color accuracy, print quality, and production consistency
- Manage packaging, fulfillment, and shipping preparation for all deliverables
- Oversee shipping logistics, tracking, and coordination of outbound materials
- Source, evaluate, and qualify new print materials, substrates, and production supplies
- Conduct research and development (R&D) for new production processes and workflow improvements
- Troubleshoot production challenges and implement effective problem-solving solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency, output quality, and operational performance
- Maintain production tracking and reporting using Microsoft Excel and related tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or in print production/operations leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing production teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality assurance and color accuracy
