Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Fairfield, OH. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting licensed pharmacists with the preparation, distribution, and management of medications, ensuring safe and efficient pharmacy operations. Responsibilities
- Accurately assist in filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Measure, count, and package medications per prescription guidelines.
- Affix appropriate labels with dosage instructions and safety warnings.
- Input prescription and patient data into pharmacy software systems.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability.
- Conduct inventory checks and rotate stock to prevent expired medications.
- Safely dispose of expired or recalled products in compliance with regulations.
- Greet patients and respond to inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.
- Assist with prescription drop-off and pick-up processes.
- Perform routine checks on pharmacy equipment and storage conditions.
- Participate in quality control efforts, including expiration date monitoring and cleanliness standards.
- Support a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
- Follow all applicable laws and guidelines related to pharmacy operations and controlled substances.
- Adhere to safety protocols for handling medications and hazardous materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
