Essential Functions:

The Welding Foremen  is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our welding department which includes supervise welding activities, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating workflow, and maintaining quality standards. They manage a team of welders and ensure the completion of welding projects efficiently on time and within budget. Aspiring individuals with a leadership mindset are suitable for this profession.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and supervise welding projects on job sites to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship

- Conduct safety checks and enforce safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment

- Train and mentor welding team members to improve skills and productivity

- Manage inventory of welding materials and equipment to prevent delays in project execution

- Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule welding tasks according to project timelines

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.

Experience and Education:

- 5+ years of experience in welding and metal fabrication

- Proven leadership skills in managing a team of welders

- Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety protocols

- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and project managers

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:

- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Drivers License is required within two weeks of employment.

- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
