Job Title: Quality Technician Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to ensure the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a commitment to upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities
- Utilize measuring equipment, including calipers, comparators, and micrometers, to perform accurate inspections.
- Conduct incoming inspections to ensure product quality.
- Apply knowledge of APQP, FMEA, and PPAP in quality assessments.
- Analyze data using normal distribution charts, trend charts, and control charts.
- Train employees on quality standards and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Document defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform duties safely, using proper tools and wearing appropriate protective equipment.
- Participate in the internal audit system as a member of the internal audit team.
- Understand and practice Quality System requirements and documentation, including inspection, verification, and disposition procedures.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Five years of experience as an Internal Quality Auditor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a QA Auditor role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating CMM equipment.
- CQA certification is a plus.
Work Environment
The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of proper tools and protective equipment. The work setting involves participation in internal audits and requires understanding of quality system documentation. The successful candidate will be part of a team dedicated to upholding quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Neenah, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
