- ## RN- Urology
- ## Full-Time, 40 hours/ week
- ## Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4:00pm
- ## Location: Wheaton- Travel to Hinsdale, Lisle, Lombard, Naperville as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Triage patients both in clinic and over the phone.
- Perform sterile catheterizations on both men and women.
- Collects sterile midstream urine samples, draws blood work, prepares blood, urine, and tissue samples appropriately to send for laboratory analysis.
- Perform a urine analysis.
- Use the bladder scanner.
- Provide care for patients with kidney conditions and renal stones.
- Interpret laboratory studies and use standing orders to prescribe appropriate medications as needed.
- Recognize medication dosage, complications, contraindications, and interactions.
- Perform head to toe assessments as an RN
- Report any complications or issues to the physician.
- Perform extensive patient and family education regarding a variety of bladder, kidney, and other urinary tract disorders.
- Be familiar with signs and symptoms of infection and be comfortable dressing wounds and assessing long-term catheters.
- Collaborate closely with the physician, medical assistants, family members and patient to ensure medications, lifestyle changes, and therapy services are suitable.
- Managing provider in-basket messages.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- ## Current IL RN licensure
- ## Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- ## Current CPR certification
- ## Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting but may consider new grad under specific circumstances

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $28.01- $42.01 USD Hourly, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
