Starting Pay Rate: $21.00 hourly
The Sales Coordinator role provides vital operational support to the Sales and Services team by managing incoming leads, assisting with contract documentation, and coordinating internal communication across departments. The role is designed for individuals eager to learn hotel sales processes, develop professional relationships across key operational teams, and gain foundational experience in event and group sales coordination.
What does a Sales Coordinator do?
- Receive, review, and distribute incoming sales leads to appropriate Sales Managers.
- Track and maintain lead activity logs to ensure timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
- Assist with RFP responses and preliminary client correspondence.
- Prepare contract and proposal documents for internal review and meetings as assigned.
- Help maintain and update lead and client data in CRM (Delphi) with accuracy and consistency.
- Generate and distribute reports on incoming leads, conversion rates, and production metrics.
- Collaborate with Banquets, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments to ensure alignment on group needs.
- Support internal meetings by drafting agendas, distributing materials, and taking notes.
- Facilitate communication between the Sales team and on-property operations.
- Assist with preparation for travel trade shows, including materials inventory, shipping coordination, and presentation setup.
- Support updates to branded sales collateral and digital assets in partnership with Marketing.
- Provide general administrative support to Sales Managers and the Director of Sales.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and job shadowing to prepare for future roles in Sales or Servicing.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements within the Sales Department.

Work Experience
To be successful as a Sales Coordinator, you'll need:
- Experience in hospitality, sales, or administrative
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with hotel systems (Delphi, LMS) a plus.
- Bachelors in hospitality management a plus.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn the hospitality sales process.
- To be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds.
