Sunbelt Natural Foods Distributors is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Warehouse Associate / Driver to join our team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety. You won’t spend every day doing the same thing—you’ll help prepare customer orders, receive and organize products, maintain the warehouse, and make deliveries to our customers.

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Associate / Driver, you will split your responsibilities between warehouse operations and customer deliveries . Your responsibilities will include:

- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.

- Load delivery vehicles and ensure products are properly secured for transportation.

- Safely transport and deliver products to customers according to assigned routes and schedules.

- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure products and documentation are accurate and complete.

- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.

- Assist with loading and unloading products at customer locations.

- Follow all applicable transportation laws and company safety procedures.

- Maintain a safe driving record and properly care for company vehicles.

- Perform and document required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles to verify safe operating conditions and identify maintenance or safety concerns.

- Promptly report vehicle defects, damage, maintenance needs, accidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

- Receive incoming products and verify quantities, specifications, condition, and quality.

- Stock and rotate products according to FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.

- Monitor expiration dates and assist with physical inventory counts.

- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet-handling equipment, when trained and authorized.

- Complete and maintain delivery, temperature, maintenance, and other required records.

- Process and handle documents such as sales orders, invoices, purchase orders, and bills of lading.

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas, trucks, and equipment.

- Communicate with warehouse staff, management, customers, and other departments as needed.

- Perform other job-related duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid driver’s license.

- Safe and acceptable driving record.

- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and delivery environment.

- Ability to follow instructions, established routes, schedules, food-safety requirements, and company procedures.

- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, or guide products weighing up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Willingness to perform both warehouse and driving responsibilities.

- Previous warehouse, delivery, distribution, or related experience is preferred.

- Forklift experience is a plus; required training may be provided based on the position.

- English/Spanish bilingual communication skills are preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This is an active position that involves a combination of warehouse work and driving.

While performing this job, employees may regularly be required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, reach with their hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or balance.

Employees must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, or guide products weighing up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation.

The position also requires the ability to safely operate vehicles and applicable warehouse equipment and to work in warehouse environments where temperatures and noise levels may vary.
