Project Manager

Due to project requirements the position of Project Manager has become available to join our Cadent contract based in Marks Tey, Colechester

You will lead a group of engineering teams to develop and deliver the Mains Replacement Programme, ensuring all works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, compliance, customer excellence and commercial control. Maximise the customer experience service ensuring Cadent’s customer commitments are met and customer initiatives are always a high priority. Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders ensuring the client and parent organisations’ reputation is maintained.

- Previous gas supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential

- Ability to lead a team, influence and drive performance

- Site management experience

- High standards of safety and customer behaviour, leading by example, promoting safety and customer culture

- Working knowledge of relevant codes of practice, safety and statutory regulations

- Experience in delivering works in a safe and compliant manner

- Good communications skills required (written and verbal)

- Experience in operations relevant to SCO procedures (beneficial but not essential)

- Current UK driving licence

- Analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications required for role (development will be provided to attain these)

- Competent Person for routine operations (SCO5)

- Authorising Engineer for permit to work for excavations (SCO2)

- Temporary Works Appointed Person (Temporary Work Supervisor – BS5975)

- NRSWA Supervisor

- SHEA Gas

- Deep Excavation qualification

- Working at Height appreciation

- UMSTS / SMSTS
