Description

Nichols Kaster, PLLP, an employee, consumer, and civil rights law firm, seeks a Case Development Clerk for its Class Action Intake and Origination work in its Minneapolis office.

For nearly 50 years, Nichols Kaster has been dedicated to fighting for clients. With offices in Minneapolis and San Francisco, Nichols Kaster is a proven powerhouse in complex class litigation, taking on some of the largest corporations in the world and securing significant recoveries in cases across the country.

This role is an integral part of our team (consisting of attorneys and other support staff), representing people in lawsuits across the country against corporations and the government. This position will require considerable interaction with potential clients and investigating and developing potential cases.

Responsibilities :

- Acting as the first point of contact with the firm’s potential clients
- Managing potential client communications and documents in various databases
- Communicating with potential clients and collecting information to assist attorneys with case management and development
- Collaborating with our marketing company to set up social media ads and postings
- Participating in regular team meetings regarding case development and strategy
- Providing administrative support by scheduling meetings, mailing advertisement letters, and drafting documents

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Applicants should be self-motivated, detail oriented, and have strong communication skills
- Customer service and phone experience is a plus
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
