Group Home Caregiver

We are looking for a Group Home Caregiver to join LIFE, Inc. - Halifax in Roanoke Rapids, NC. This job pays $17.50 per hour, paid every two weeks. You will work every other weekend on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED.

- A valid North Carolina driver's license.

- At least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

- Help clients with dressing, bathing, using the bathroom, and other daily care tasks.

- Help clients during meals to encourage family-style dining.

- Help clients with house chores like clothes care, cleaning, and yard work.

- Help clients prepare meals and nutritional supplements.

- Administer prescribed medicine correctly and without errors.

- Follow prescribed diet plans and help clients use any special equipment.

- Follow behavior plans and safety rules closely.

- Help clients with their active treatment, including training, recording progress, and achieving goals.

- Work as part of a team and share important information with supervisors.

- Drive clients in company vehicles when needed.

- Assist clients during community activities and outings.

- Support clients during school and day programs.

- Perform other tasks as assigned by managers.
