Auto Parts Delivery Driver

Position Summary
The Auto Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering automotive parts and supplies to customers, repair shops, dealerships, and other business locations. This position requires excellent customer service, accurate order handling, and adherence to company safety and driving policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Deliver automotive parts and supplies to designated customer locations in a timely manner.

- Load, unload, verify, and secure parts for transport.

- Review delivery orders for accuracy and obtain customer signatures when required.

- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers.

- Assist in checking, stocking, and organizing inventory when not making deliveries.

- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws.

- Communicate delivery status, route issues, and customer concerns to management.

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.

- Process returns and pick up merchandise from customers and vendors as needed.

- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

- Ability to safely operate cars, vans, or light trucks.

- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and terminology preferred.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to read maps, follow GPS directions, and manage delivery schedules.

- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements

- Frequently lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb during shifts.

- Ability to work in varying weather conditions while loading and unloading deliveries.

Work Environment

- Combination of driving, warehouse, and retail environment.

- Regular interaction with customers, warehouse staff, and store personnel.

- May require early morning, evening, weekend shifts based on business needs.
