Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations, compliance, and personnel at a government-contracted site. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing uniformed armed officers in high-security environments and ensuring full compliance with contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of daily armed security operations at assigned government contract site(s).
- Serve as the primary point of contact between company leadership, client representatives, and contract stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with contract requirements, post orders, training standards, and staffing obligations.
- Oversee onboarding coordination, training, and scheduling of all assigned security personnel.
- Monitor and enforce standards related to conduct, uniform appearance, certifications, and use-of-force policies.
- Respond to incidents and ensure proper reporting, escalation, and documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports, incident logs, and staffing reports as required.
- Conduct regular post inspections, audits, and site walkthroughs to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Ensure all personnel maintain current certifications (CPR, First Aid, firearms, TASER, as applicable).
- Support performance management, including coaching, counseling, and corrective action as needed.
- Ensure compliance with background screening, licensing, and fitness requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely distribution of uniforms, equipment, and credentials.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with valid state-issued identification.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Florida Class “D” and “G” Security License.
- Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, Firearms, and TASER (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Must pass a comprehensive background screening, including fingerprinting, drug screening, and fitness requirements as applicable to the contract.
- No felony convictions or disqualifying offenses under federal firearm regulations.
- Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in armed security, law enforcement, military, or contract security operations.
- High school diploma or GED required; higher education in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of government contract security operations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting or supervising federal or government security contracts (DoD, DHS, GSA, etc.).
- Military, law enforcement, or federal protective services background.
- Experience with scheduling, timekeeping, and incident reporting systems.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to assigned site(s).
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
Background Clearance Requirements (Federal Contracts)
Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation, which may include:
- Fingerprinting through an approved federal agency
- State and federal criminal history checks (FBI/NCIC)
- Verification of employment, education, and residency history
- Firearm eligibility review
- Drug screening and physical fitness evaluation (if required)
- Ongoing eligibility for site access, including periodic reinvestigations
Candidates who do not meet federal clearance requirements will not be eligible for assignment on federal contracts.
Travel & Work Requirements
- Ability to travel between assigned sites (regional, multi-location coverage required).
- Ability to conduct site inspections, audits, and respond to operational incidents.
- Availability for on-call, after-hours, and weekend support as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and participate in drills and site activities.
- Must be able to conduct inspections, audits, and on-site supervision as required.
