Job Title: Pharmacy Manager Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospital's pharmacy department. This role involves managing pharmacy staff, ensuring effective inventory management, and developing policies and procedures to enhance pharmaceutical care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department.
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients as needed.
- Manage inventory and ensure efficient supply chain processes.
- Oversee staff, providing support, mentoring, and guidance.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Assist in managing the pharmacy during the Pharmacy Director's absence.
Essential Skills
- B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- 5+ years of hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Record Systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
- 1 year of experience as a pharmacy operations specialist.
- Hospital Pharmacy Management experience.
- ALS/ACLS certification.

Work Environment
Work in a busy hospital lab setting with a schedule of 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, including rotating weekends. Employees receive one weekday off each week, ensuring a consistent schedule. The facility includes the only burn unit in the area, focusing primarily on adult care with minimal pediatric involvement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
