Western Smokehouse Partners is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner.

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with senior HR management in supporting the facility. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, policy implementation, benefits administration, and HRIS management.

Essential Functions:

- Conduct new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.

- Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave

- Handle employee relations counseling, investigations, and exit interviewing.

- Assist in performance management and improvement processes, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.

- Maintain HRIS records and compile reports as needed.

- Assists operations in conflict resolution and disciplinary matters and leads associated investigations

- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field preferred

- Minimum of 5-year HR experience required

- Successful interaction with many different departments and people in the facility

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities

- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with members across the organization

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet critical deadlines
