Housekeeping Room Attendant

The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.

Key Requirements

- Availability: Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Typical start time is 9:00 AM ; end time varies based on business needs.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.

- Experience: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, especially in hospitality.

- Professionalism: Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and demonstrate reliability and strong work ethic.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Clean and service guest rooms and suites according to hotel standards

- Restock linens, amenities, and room supplies

- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance concerns promptly

- Respond to guest requests with professionalism and efficiency

- Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned areas and housekeeping carts

- Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily operations
