Qualifications

This position is in office. The Creative Content Designer serves as the Marketing teams primary in-house creative resource, bringing Connexs brand, products, and member stories to life through compelling visual content through digital, print, social media, video, advertising, branch, event, and internal communication channels. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design, content development, and video production skills with the ability to translate financial information into clear, engaging, and approachable content while maintaining brand consistency, accuracy, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design and Production (40%)

- Develop integrated campaign concepts and creative assets for digital and traditional channels, including email, social media, digital advertising, direct mail, print, branch signage, events, presentations, and newsletters.

- Create adaptable designs and branded templates that maintain consistency across formats while improving production efficiency.

- Prepare materials for digital publication and commercial printing, coordinating production specifications with vendors as needed.

Social Media and Video Content (30%)

- Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist to develop platform-native content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including short-form videos from concept and scripting through filming, editing, captioning, and final production.

- Adapt campaign and long-form materials into educational, promotional, community-focused, and entertaining channel-specific content that strengthens brand awareness and engagement.

Brand Stewardship (15%)

- Maintain and evolve Connexs visual identity, brand voice, and creative standards while reviewing internally and externally produced materials for consistency.

- Manage the Marketing teams library of photography, video, design files, templates, logos, and other creative assets.

- Ensure appropriate usage of disclosures, trademarks, photography permissions, and required brand elements.

Collaboration and Project Support (15%)

- Collaborate with the copy owner to review and refine clear, engaging, and member-friendly content across advertising, social media, email, web, print, and other marketing channels.

- Provide feedback on messaging and creative approaches to help ensure content aligns with the intended audience, channel, campaign objective, stage of the member journey, and established brand voice.

- Collaborate with Marketing and departments across the organization to interpret creative briefs, gather information, identify content opportunities, and develop concepts aligned with campaign objectives.

- Participate in campaign planning, brainstorming, creative reviews, and post-campaign evaluations, incorporating feedback from Marketing, Compliance, leadership, and other stakeholders.

- Manage multiple creative assignments while meeting established priorities, deadlines, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in graphic design, visual communications, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

- Two or more years of experience in graphic design, content creation, advertising, or a related creative role.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating work across digital, print, social media, branding, and campaign development.

- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Canva for developing, adapting, and maintaining branded templates and creative assets.

- Experience with video editing and motion-content tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable platforms.

- Strong editing, proofreading, and visual storytelling skills.

- Understanding of design principles, typography, color, composition, print production, and digital asset preparation.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.

- Strong attention to detail and willingness to work within regulated review and approval processes.

- Experience in financial services, credit unions, banking, healthcare, insurance, or another regulated industry is a plus.
