About this role
As a Plumbing Maintenance Technician, you'll perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, andminor repairs on plumbing systems, catching small issues with water heaters, piping, and fixtures before they turn into bigger problems. You'll get to know each customer's system and help them understand what it needs to keep running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance services, including inspections, cleaning, and testing of water heaters, piping, drains, and fixtures
Identify and troubleshoot minor plumbing issues, testing water pressure, drainage, and system performance to ensure compliance
Document system condition, maintenance performed, and any recommended repairs or replacements
Educate customers on plumbing system condition, best practices, and provide clear recommendations for repairs or upgrades
Accurately record job details, including parts used and time worked
Collaborate with dispatch, service managers, and other technicians to ensure efficient scheduling
Maintain tools, equipment, and your company vehicle in safe, clean, reliable condition

Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Plumbing trade school or technical training preferred
Experience
2+ years of plumbing experience in maintenance, service, or related roles
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, components, and preventive maintenance practices
Licenses/Certifications
Journeyman plumbing license or state-required certification preferred (may vary by location)
Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to diagnose and perform minor repairs safely and effectively
Proficiency with ServiceTitan or similar service management software preferred
Physical Demands and Conditions
Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and standing for extendedperiods
Work performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in confined spaces or adverse conditions
Work Environment/Travel
Field-based role with daily travel to residential and commercial customer sites
May require evenings, weekends, or overtime depending on customer needs and schedules
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
