Protein Research is looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join our Production team as Production Operations Technician . If you enjoy working with equipment, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive, fast-paced environment—this role is for you!

This position offers hands-on training, growth opportunities, and a chance to play a key role in our production process while helping deliver high-quality nutraceutical products.

What Youll Do

- Assemble, disassemble, set up, and operate production filling machines

- Make minor adjustments and fine-tune equipment to keep production running smoothly

- Set up and monitor secondary equipment (printers, checkweighers, X-ray systems, metal detectors)

- Handle and store heavy and delicate equipment components safely

- Follow all production, sanitation, and safety procedures

- Accurately complete production paperwork, line checks, and weight documentation

- Perform unit conversions (grams, kilograms, pounds) and packaging calculations

- Calculate percentage yield and material loss

- Submit maintenance requests when needed

- Stay detail-focused, safety-minded, and quality-driven throughout every shift

Qualifications

What Were Looking For

- High school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

- Basic math and mechanical skills with a willingness to learn and grow

- Ability to perform unit and weight conversions and calculate yields

- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork clearly and accurately

- Comfortable following written and verbal instructions

- Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a changing production environment

- Physically capable of performing the duties associated with the role

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the primary workplace language

- Bonus: Bilingual skills and forklift certification
