Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring a smooth and effective operation of applications
- Application and database testing and QA
- Maintaining and updating technical documents, processes, and procedures
- Providing technical support by troubleshooting and resolving application issues, monitoring scheduled jobs, and by supporting end users
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives
- Resolving system problems during non-business hours or backlogs by providing off-hours support as needed
- Assisting with application integrations
- Automating manual processes when feasible
- Providing cross training to other team members within the department and credit union
- Keeping abreast of any updates, enhancements, or new features

- Ability to quickly learn and master department specific applications
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
- Demonstrated logical and analytical thinking
- Be naturally curious and creative with a drive to discover solutions to problems, as well as a passion for innovation
- Understanding of Agile SDLC
- Strong customer service skills, self-motivated, self-starter, well organized and detail oriented
- Working knowledge of PCs, MS Windows application software packages, Microsoft network, and financial institution experience
Preferred Skills/Knowledge
- Knowledge and experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Power Automate
- Basic knowledge of programming concepts like control flow, functions, and Object-Oriented Programming
- Knowledge of the credit unions banking systems, including but not limited to DNA, CCM, and Q2, is a plus
Required Education
Bachelors in Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent years of experience
