Job Title: Clinic Supervisor Job Description
The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of departmental staff, assisting the management team with clinic operations, and supporting the delivery of quality patient care. This role involves overseeing operations, managing clinical and front office staff, and ensuring teams complete assignments and conduct internal audits. The Clinic Supervisor also handles training, scheduling, and administrative tasks, ensuring seamless clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to departmental staff.
- Ensure the department is adequately staffed and manage schedules to ensure coverage for all clinics.
- Monitor employee performance and provide timely feedback to employees.
- Identify opportunities for employee development and facilitate coaching, training, and resources.
- Collaborate with the department management team to ensure workflows support efficient and effective clinic operations.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating administrative and clinical services.
- Support management in identifying areas for improvement and implementing quality initiatives.
- Ensure patient concerns and complaints are addressed promptly.
- Track departmental key performance indicators (KPI) and report findings to management monthly.
- Manage departmental inventory of medical and medication supplies.
- Provide initial and ongoing training to clinical and administrative staff.
- Provide coverage of Certified Medical Assistant responsibilities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Certified Medical Assistant.
- Experience in customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and first aid certification within 60 days of hire.
- 1-year experience as a medical assistant (front or back office).
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including CRM tools.
Work Environment
The position is based onsite in Big Bear, at 42002 Fox Farm Rd Suites 200 & 201, Big Bear Lake, CA. The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM, supervising 4 Medical Assistants, 3 Medical Receptionists, and 1 Referral Coordinator. The dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Big Bear Lake, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.50 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
