Quality Inspector

Brief Description:

Quality Inspector performs visual and mechanical inspection on product in accordance with established procedures to ensure compliance to specified requirements

Qualifications

- High School or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Ability to accurately perform visual and mechanical inspection (receiving/ in-process and final) on externally threaded product in accordance with procedures to ensure compliance to product requirements.

- Proficient in proper use of micrometers, comparators, tri-rolls, ring gages, penetration gages etc.

- Experience completing AS9102 First Article reports a plus.

- Ability to analyze & accurately interpret customer drawings and specifications, and quality system practices.

- Basic math skills such as add, subtract, multiply, divide, decimals, fractions & percentages to meet job requirements.

- Ability to accurately record measurements and results on corresponding documentation.

- Must be results oriented and motivated self-starter with a strong history of delivering results which meet or exceed standards.

- Excellent attention to detail with ability to think and act analytically

- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking and writing.

- Effective team member with sense of urgency and ability to meet schedule requirements.

- Excellent attendance record required.

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

- Ability to sit 90% of shift

- Ability to work overtime as required, including weekends when needed.
