Main r esponsibilities :

- Oversee daily operations of the Produce Department with a focus on freshness, quality, and customer service

- Deliver knowledgeable, friendly service and ensure associates demonstrate strong product knowledge

- Execute corporate merchandising programs, planograms, seasonal sets, and promotional displays

- Maintain full, fresh, clean, and visually appealing produce displays at all times

- Manage product rotation, remove damaged or unsellable items, and maintain freshness standards

- Order, receive, inspect, and store product following food safety and rotation guidelines

- Manage shrink through inventory controls, root ‑ cause identification, and waste ‑ reduction strategies

- Build and manage labor schedules aligned with business needs

- Train, coach, and develop produce associates while maintaining a positive team environment

- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and company operational standards

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

- Strong customer ‑ service mindset with attention to freshness and detail

- Effective leadership, communication, and coaching skills

- Strong organization, prioritization, and problem ‑ solving abilities

- Ability to lead in a fast ‑ paced, high ‑ volume environment

Competencies:

- Produce merchandising and freshness execution

- Inventory management, ordering, and shrink control

- Labor planning, scheduling, and associate supervision

- Food safety, sanitation, and compliance execution

Knowledge:

- Produce handling, rotation, and freshness standards

- Retail merchandising and promotional execution

- Store systems and inventory tools

Abilities:

- Ability to review sales, shrink, and inventory data to drive results

- Ability to train and develop associates

- Ability to lift, move, and stack product and work in coolers and refrigerated environments

- Travel requirements: None

- Other requirements: Flexible availability including weekends and holidays; reliable attendance; compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and the Code of Business Conduct
