Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Description The Talent Acquisition Specialist develops and executes sophisticated sourcing strategies to attract critical, hard-to-fill, and executive-level talent. This role focuses on building robust pipelines of passive candidates, conducting in-depth market and competitor research, and partnering closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to translate business needs into targeted sourcing plans. The specialist serves as a trusted advisor on talent availability and market trends, supports executive recruiting efforts, and helps shape employment brand and recruitment marketing initiatives to strengthen visibility within priority talent markets. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify and attract critical, hard-to-fill, and executive-level talent.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive candidates aligned to current and anticipated business needs.
- Conduct comprehensive talent mapping across relevant competitors, geographies, and talent markets to inform sourcing plans.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to translate business needs into targeted sourcing strategies and detailed candidate profiles.
- Identify and engage passive candidates through HireEZ, professional networks, referrals, industry organizations, and other sourcing channels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on talent availability, competitive hiring activity, candidate motivations, and emerging market trends.
- Support executive recruiting through market research, candidate identification, pipeline development, and coordination of search activities.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership on employment brand and recruitment marketing initiatives designed to strengthen visibility in priority talent markets.
- Develop targeted outreach strategies and messaging that effectively communicate the employee value proposition to prospective candidates.
- Leverage sourcing data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing efforts, identify opportunities, and continuously refine strategies.
- Partner with recruiters to determine which searches require dedicated sourcing support and design appropriate sourcing plans.
- Help establish sourcing standards, processes, tools, and best practices across the Talent Acquisition function.
- Provide guidance and coaching to recruiters and junior sourcing resources on sourcing techniques, market mapping, and passive candidate engagement.
- Identify opportunities to execute searches internally that might otherwise require external search partners.
- Maintain accurate candidate and sourcing activity records within applicable Talent Acquisition systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, executive search, or talent sourcing, preferably within financial services or another complex professional-services environment.
- Proven success in identifying and engaging senior-level passive talent.
- Advanced experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing, research, and talent-intelligence tools.
- Strong market-mapping and talent-research capabilities.
- Ability to translate business needs into sophisticated and targeted sourcing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and effective working relationships with recruiters, business leaders, and candidates.
- Experience with Workday is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling candidate outreach messages.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate talent-market data into actionable insights.
- Experience supporting executive or highly specialized searches is preferred.
- Financial-services or banking recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Comfort using a variety of sourcing platforms, talent-intelligence tools, and applicant tracking systems.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others on sourcing techniques and market research.

- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive candidate and market information.
Work Environment This role is based in a corporate office setting and operates on a Monday through Friday schedule with on-site work. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, with frequent interaction with recruiters, hiring leaders, and Talent Acquisition leadership. Standard corporate tools and technologies are used to manage sourcing activities, market research, and candidate data within Talent Acquisition systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $64.90/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
