Salary: Grade G - Starting Salary is £37,563 (Level one) rising to £40,444 (Level four), per annum (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role

The Road Safety and Road Safety Education team is within the Traffic and Flood Risk Management service.

As a Senior Officer - Road Safety you will analyse data to develop highway improvements to improve the safety of Nottingham's roads and then work with relevant colleagues across the Council to manage the delivery of innovative road safety schemes. You will provide support and advice to colleagues, councillors, partners and the public.

As an experienced Road Safety Auditor, you will help ensure that any highway improvements, including those proposed by Developers, are as safe as possible.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

· Experience undertaking Road Safety Audits, as a member or lead.

· Knowledge of relevant highway legislation and road safety techniques.

· Data analysis, finance and project management skills.
