Business Development Associate
Due to continued growth, Elire is looking to add a highly motivated Business Development Associate to support our Sales and Marketing teams in continuing to grow our organization. This role will focus on prospecting, outbound campaigns, lead generation, relationship development, sales coordination, and accurate pipeline data. The Business Development Associate will help identify and engage prospective clients, schedule qualified meetings, support campaigns and events, and keep sales activity organized within Salesforce. The right candidate will be curious, persistent, professional, and eager to learn Elire's Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, EPM and Analytics, Treasury, Advisory, and Managed Services offerings. This individual must be able to communicate Elire's value clearly while working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, practice leadership, and strategic partners.
This resource will be performing and assisting with the following activities:
● Conduct targeted prospect and account research to identify organizations, contacts, business needs, and potential sales opportunities
● Execute outbound prospecting through phone, email, social channels, campaigns, events, and other approved business development methods
● Engage prospective clients, introduce Elire's capabilities, qualify interest, and schedule meetings for Business Development Managers and sales leadership
● Build a working knowledge of Elire's Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, EPM and Analytics, Treasury, Advisory, and Managed Services offerings
● Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop account lists, campaign audiences, outreach messaging, follow-up plans, and lead-generation activities
● Maintain accurate and timely lead, contact, account, campaign, activity, and opportunity information within Salesforce
● Research and maintain company organizational charts, decision-maker information, account notes, and other data that supports effective outreach
● Follow up with prospects and clients generated through conferences, webinars, demonstrations, dinners, partner programs, referrals, and marketing campaigns
● Coordinate calendars, meeting logistics, supporting materials, and follow-up activities for prospect and client meetings
● Support sales documentation and pursuit activities, including proposals, RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, presentations, and Statements of Work
● Assist with webinars, conferences, trade shows, user group meetings, demonstrations, and other lead-generation events, including promotion, logistics, execution, and follow-up
● Coordinate with strategic partners and internal practice leaders to support joint campaigns, meetings, events, and market-development activities
● Track individual activity, meeting generation, lead conversion, campaign results, and pipeline contribution against established goals
● Provide clear feedback from prospect conversations to help Sales and Marketing improve targeting, messaging, campaigns, and follow-up
● Support additional sales and marketing initiatives as business needs evolve
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
● Strong interest in business development, sales, enterprise technology, and professional services
● Ability to conduct thoughtful account and prospect research and turn that information into focused outreach
● Comfort communicating with prospective clients by phone, email, virtual meeting , social channels, and in-person events
● Ability to learn and clearly communicate Elire's services, client value, and differentiators at an introductory level
● Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, confident, and relationship-focused approach
● Excellent organization, follow-through, time management, and attention to detail
● Persistence and resilience when managing outbound activity, follow-up, competing priorities, and changing business needs
● Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Delivery, practice leadership, and partner teams
● Experience using a CRM to document activity, maintain accurate data, manage follow-up, and support reporting
● Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Google Workspace, virtual meeting tools, and marketing or sales-support platforms
● Self-starter with sound judgment, curiosity, accountability, and a willingness to learn
All applicants must also meet the following requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Business , Marketing, Sales, Business, Communications, Technology, or a related field
● 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, customer success, recruiting, or another client-facing environment
● Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform and the ability to maintain accurate, usable sales data
● Ability to manage outbound activity and follow-up consistently while working toward individual and team goals
● Willingness and ability to travel as needed for conferences, client meetings, partner activities, and internal events
● Legally able to work for any employer in the United States
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
