Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Matters: Pull blank stock for dye and print schedules, ensuring accuracy in every step.
- Receiving Excellence: Manage incoming blank stock shipments with efficiency and care.
- Dyeing Perfection: Follow customer orders and instructions from the Production Manager and Supervisor, adhering to exact formulas without deviation.
- Exact Measurements: Weigh dyestuff and chemicals precisely according to provided formulas.
- Organized & Efficient: Breakdown and put away blank stock, and prep outbound orders as needed.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts of blank stock and manage store shopping bag requests.
- Safety & Maintenance: Report any issues to the Production Manager or Supervisor promptly.
- Team Player: Assist QA and shipping departments with folding, boxing, bagging, and shipping when time allows.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and maintain clean and organized dye and chemical storage areas.
- Adaptability: Take on other duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Basic math skills.
- Previous experience with pigment dyeing is a must.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, pull, carry, and move items up to 70lbs.
- Comfortable working in varied noise levels and a warehouse environment that may be dusty and subject to temperature changes.
- Capable of standing and being on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
- Use of appropriate PPE, including eye and ear protection, and rubber gloves as needed.
- Adherence to company’s Exposure Prevention, Preparedness, and Response guidelines, including the use of masks and cleaning supplies for disinfection.
