About the Role:

As the Clinical Care Manager at our Aged Care home   in Port Macquarie ,   you will assume clinical leadership responsibility for the delivery of high-quality care and care planning for our   80   residents. You will be accountable for the supervision of nursing and care teams, management of the clinical governance framework and play a key role in the quality improvement cycle for our facility.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to:

- Deliver exceptional clinical care - medical/rehabilitative, dementia and restorative

- Elevate lifestyle, wellbeing, social connection, and care for our residents

- Demonstrate leadership in embedding quality and safety as a key focus

- Establish operating rhythms with team members to create an open and inclusive culture

- Support and enable the development of Clinical and Care teams by

- providing hands-on education and training and   identify   opportunities for growth

- Promote the profile of RSL   LifeCare   in the local area by building relationships with health and community groups

- Support the Facility Manager to ensure Clinical and Care labour cost-management initiatives are fully adopted

About You:

To be considered for this position, we are seeking people who have:

- A current AHPRA registration

- A minimum 5 years’ postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care, or another relevant environment

- Experience managing compliance with regulatory standards

- Sound understanding of person-centred approaches to clinical care and support

- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and ability to build meaningful relationships

- Demonstrated ability to make good decisions which balance commercial outcomes with customer experience

- Experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering on accountabilities

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Sound financial acumen as   evidenced   by prior budget management experience
