Manager, Financial Governance, Tax & Services

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented  Manager, Financial Governance, Tax & Services  to join our Finance team at RHB Banking Group. This role supports daily financial operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

What you will be doing

- Prepare financial statements and management accounts for subsidary
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
- Review and analyse balance sheet and profit and loss accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS/FRS and internal accounting policies.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
- Support corporate tax, withholding tax, GST/VAT and deferred tax reporting requirements.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation and management responses
- Participate in finance transformation, automation and system enhancement projects.
- Support Head of Finance and Section Head in relation to financial reporting

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of experience in external audit, tax, and financial reporting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Excel; Big 4 experience is an advantage
• Resourceful, independent, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
